Then I found some fix on the Steam forums that was settig up the controller in Steam Big Picture Mode(the controller works there) but it didn't help in-game. And after restart it started crashing like described in problem 1. The progress here is that the game opened with the software installed so I thought 'OMG IT WORKED', but no, no it didn't. At this moment I'm already pissed and deleted the software, the game opens and I am faced with the same screen from problem number 2.Īfter that I see that you can change the name of 'xinput.dll' file so I download the software again, set it up and tried changing between all of the names the software offers ->9_1 1_1 1_2 1_3 1_4 - still no luck. I open the game with the already set xc360ce software and the game does the same thing that I described in the first problem. After I set it all up I thought 'Finally, I can play the game I paid for'. Found out that you need software in order to emulate xbox360 controller and downloaded it(xc360ce) and started setting it up as per a guide I found out also by googling. Decided to start googling annd found few Steam forum posts regarding this issue(most of them were for NSUNS4) and started reading. Unplugged the Joystick and tried with the keyboard but got the same error. At this point im getting a little pissed of. Then I bumped directly into problem number 2: After I opened the game I see the conventional 'Set the button assignments for the 1P controller' - said cool and started mashing some buttons on the joystick in order to confirm and continue with the buttons assignments - no luck. At this point I'm still very motivated and was happy to see that it started. Disabled the additional one and the game finally starts. Then I thought that probably there is some interference between some controllers and opened my device manager(I'm using Windows 64bit) and found 2 instead of one controllers. Thought it was weird and then plugged the controller in again and the game crashes again. I unplug the joystick and the game starts. Then I stumbled on the first problem: I open the game and it instantly closes, like I see black screen and then it closes.

Then I downloaded it, plugged my controller and went quick in starting my shinobi journey.

Okay so I found some old USB Controller( tested it and it is working) under my bed and decided that I will fulfill my childish dreams of playing Naruto Games with controller on PC. Maybe this is one of the most common questions asked here, but I need some help. This became pretty big post so I'm putting TL DR at the bottom of the post.
